Here's a simple DIY wood cleaner recipe that you can make at home:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or another vegetable oil (e.g., coconut oil)
- Optional: A few drops of essential oil (such as lemon, lavender, or tea tree) for fragrance (avoid using citrus oils on certain woods)

Instructions:
1. In a spray bottle or a clean container with a lid, combine the water, white vinegar, and oil.

2. If desired, add a few drops of your preferred essential oil for fragrance. This step is optional but can help mask the vinegar smell and leave a pleasant scent.

3. Close the container tightly and shake well to blend all the ingredients. The mixture will separate over time, so it's important to shake it before each use.

Using your DIY wood cleaner:
Here's how you can use your homemade wood cleaner:

1. Dust any loose debris or dirt from the wooden surface using a soft cloth orduster.

2. Spray or apply a small amount of the DIY wood cleaner onto a clean, lint-free cloth. Avoid spraying the cleaner directly onto the wood surface to prevent excessive moisture.

3. Gently wipe the wood surface in the direction of the grain. Take care not to oversaturate the wood.

4. Allow the wood to air dry, or if needed, wipe it dry with a clean cloth.

It's important to note that this DIY wood cleaner is suitable for most finished wood surfaces. However, it's always a good idea to test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility and to check if any adverse reactions occur.

Avoid using this cleaner on unfinished wood, waxed wood, or antiques, as it may damage the surface or alter the patina.

With proper care, your DIY wood cleaner can help maintain the beauty and shine of your wooden furniture or surfaces.
