DIY Ranch Dressing- Let's Gooooooo!

Making your own ranch dressing at home is a great way to customize the flavors and avoid some of the artificial ingredients found in store-bought versions. Here's a simple recipe for DIY ranch dressing:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- A squeeze of fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

2. Add the fresh chives, parsley, garlic, dried dill, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

3. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings to your preference. You can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for a tangier flavor if desired.

4. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can stir in a little more buttermilk. Conversely, if you prefer a thicker dressing, use less buttermilk or add additional mayo or sour cream.

5. Transfer the ranch dressing to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

The homemade ranch dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. It can be used in salads, as a dip for veggies or chicken wings, or as a flavor enhancer for various dishes. Feel free to adjust the ingredients and quantities to your liking to create your ideal ranch dressing. Enjoy!
